I had an enquiry from Ian E about leaving comments. Spoke to my mum and she has left instructions on the blog. You need to go to her two comments that are posted at the bottom of the 'Hola' blog which I did in February. Hopefully that will be enough for you all to follow and leave some cheeky chat for me and the boys!
Come on...I am waiting...xxx

Well hello, fantastic blog information about your travels. Did Bill get the Big Mac you promised him? Your feedback is so colourful especially for me who visited at least some of these places with you and Caroline when you were much...much younger. I'm sure the magic still persists, France is so timeless and magical. Markets are the thing that I most remember, everything is so fresh and sometimes still alive. Like Joshua, not sure I am at peace with meat on the move. None the less this is part of the French palate and if you start with fresh produce you get great final results, this cannot be denied. Don't you feel that you must learn French/Italian/German, we are so complacent in the UK, assuming that everyone will learn English and if fact they do. Languages has to come high on the educational corriculum ss communication is everything whatever your career choices.
ReplyDeleteAnyway weather in Scotland is very.. very cold, alternating between snow and rain. How did the boys like the snow in the mountains? Hope my Post a Comment was helpful to some.. please leave a message as I'm sure Bill, Lesley and the boys need to hear from those at home. Love the 500, mpg is increasing, currently 46.4. Luv you all lots, Mum xxxxx
Hiya,
ReplyDeletePleased to hear that your adventure is still going swimmingly as they say. Your posts are all very imformative, a bit like an online Michael Palin !! Agree with your Mum re the lingo. I myself felt so guilty in Europe that I have made attempts at both French and Spanish. I can usually get what I want....Beer and food usually lol. At least it is better than my friend who works worldwide and lives in Spain (not far from Torrevieja actually)....he just talks to EVERYONE in a broad East Neuk accent. Neep!!
Take care
