Getting started

Hello fellow campers and friends!

As an introduction to our blog a quick summary of the plan.......buy a motorhome, pack in work and go to Europe for a year with the kids. So far so good.

Finally got the motorhome and are now prepping the beast and steeling ourselves for the journey ahead. Hopefully we aren't prepared for every eventuality, got to have the moments panic....what no bottle opener?!.....to keep a bit of variety.

Hope you enjoy following our progress. Will try to keep it witty!

  2. Well then, gone almost a week and by all accounts everything is fantastic so far. To-day is Lesley's Birthday so we all wish her a very Happy Birthday. I don't think anyone has had time to write up their progress on Blog, either that or I am doing something wrong (very possible). Hopefully we will get some feedback soon. Luv and BGK to Lesley, Bill and the lovely boys. XXXX

  3. hello anyone watching. I spoke to Lesley on sunday and they were heading for Germany, Ossnabruk, (sorry not sure of the spelling). Used to be a British base in Germany after the second world war. (As a very young child), I remember it from a programme on a Sunday, called "Family Favourites"), they played records for servicemen overseas for their loved ones in UK. Everyone going, "How old is she". I am Lesley's Mum and no, she is not that old and neither am I, I just have a very good memory. So far no Blog from Europe. Not to worry I can assure everyone that they are well, but the fridge is causing problems..... warm beer and sour milk ......YUK. All the Best to everyone, especially LBJE. Luv u Lots.

  4. Another bit of information for those watching, I understand from Caroline, (Lesley's big sister), that they are now in Denmark. Not sure why we have no first hand information, but think there may be a missing "dongle", which is crucial for internet functioning I believe. Best wishes and luv u lots, Mum. xxxx
